Opening day is here and will begin Saturday April 2nd at Garfield Playfield #3 (closest to the tennis courts) at 10:00 am.
Please arrive by 9:30 and note that parking is limited to one small lot and street parking. (Please do not park on the grass next to the field, you will be ticketed by the city).

Arrival, Jersey Pick up, Opening Day Parade
We invite you to arrive at 9:30 and find your respective team on the field, meet coaches and friends, and most importantly pick up your hat/visor and jersey!
We’ll hold a short celebration starting at 10:00 am before a full day of baseball and softball games.
Opening Day Mask Policy
Since this is the first time our community will be together as a large group the SCLL Board requests that mask remain on to protect each other and those in our community who are not yet eligible vaccination.
SCLL Safety Policy for the 2022-2023 Season
The SCLL Safety Committee has created the following guidelines for the 2022 season, subject to change as CDC and local guidelines are updated to meet changing conditions.
1. Masks are optional for all players, coaches, and umpires (except for opening day ceremony where large group close contact is anticipated).
2. All equipment can be shared. Only catchers face masks should be wiped with cleaner between different player uses.
3. No physical distancing required.
4. Players or parents report exposures to the coach who should then contact a member of the safety team via the following email address to determine quarantine. For any issues or questions, please contact us at [email protected].
5. Quarantine guidelines create by the CDC will be followed.
