Juniors baseball is offered for players league age 13 and 14 as part of the Seattle Central & Rainier District combined “SCR” program. From LL Juniors to high school, to college, to the Minors, to MLB, the diamond is the same size. While this is still meant as a fun, recreational season, we also consider it preparatory to high school baseball. Everything about the experience will match their potential high school baseball experience--diamond size, 7-inning games, 90’ basepaths, and 60’-6” pitching distance.
Just like High School we will hit the field in February. Whole-group workouts will start in mid-February before rosters are created in early March. Games will start in late March. Travel for games ranges farther out into the rest of the District to the South and our neighboring District to the North.
